Who We Are
Dr. Lauren Steiner
Dr. Lauren Steiner first found her passion for veterinary medicine while working at an animal shelter in Summit County, Colorado. She loved working for animals in need and helping them find a new loving family. Vet school was the obvious next step in her life. She attended CU Boulder for general undergraduate studies and then attended CSU for her veterinary prerequisites.
Graduating from Oklahoma State University with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2016, Dr. Steiner then came back to practice medicine in Colorado. Since vet school, she has worked in general practice while volunteering at humane societies when possible.
After working in general practice for many years, she has decided her heart is with rescue animals and helping people in need care for their pets. She decided it was time to start an adventure of her own, and open a lower cost facility to help these target populations. Partnering with our friends at The Dog Ranch, we were able to open a surgery clinic within their impressively large boarding facility. This also makes us available to be of assistance any medical emergencies that may arise while dogs are boarding or at daycare.
Her spare time is spent with her husband, Jesse, and toddler, Owen. They have a German shepherd mix named Murphy. They adore the outdoors and are often camping, hiking or riding their bikes.
Certified Veterinary Technician / Manager
Janette Fetter holds her BA in Anthropology from UC Santa Cruz and AAS from Bel-Rea Animal Institute. She passed her VTNE in 2003, earning her the title of Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) and became certified in canine massage therapy in 2008. She has worked in many veterinary clinical settings where her passion, compassion and nursing skills have helped untold numbers of pets and their owners. She is dedicated to the care for her patients and education for their people.
As part of her dedication, Janette has opened her home to many foster animals over the years. She lives with her two dogs, Finn and Suki, two cats, Athena and Karaoke, and two boys, her husband and son. Her favorite pastimes are spending time with her family, paddle boarding, hiking, and camping.

Jennifer has a soft spot for geriatrics and special needs animals. She lives in Longmont with her husband, Gary, son, Aidan and two dogs, Dumpling and Ms. Beatrice Pickles.
